Happy New Years to my few faithful readers! Time for an update :)
Christmas has been a wonderful break for me filled with relaxation, resolution, and much wedding inspiration! After to returning to the cold, snowy, yet completely wonderful weather, my creative juices began to flow, and I think I've got some great ideas for the big day! Including simplistic program ideas, which will EXCLUDE any sort of bow tying, tab pulling, and/or hot glue guns :D (no offence to those fellow brides who included such ideas...**cough cough Sarah...**cough cough Miranda [I love you both very much minus your programs]). So that's a start, plus, my wonderful event decorator of a mother has also been developing her master plan filled with blue prints of the church and reception hall so that the details of the day will be perfect!
On to invitations: Yes, I'm aware it is incredibly early to be making invitations; however, you must remember I won't be in Fort St. John for half of the engagement, so we decided to get them done now. That way, when they need to be mailed in a few months from now, it will be hassle free! I'm crazy organized... it's ok, I'm not offended.
It was wonderful to join together with a crafty team, which included bridesmaids, future mother-in-laws, friends, family, and even the groom! (Thanks, Ryan!), to make the invitations rather then just ordering them from a print shop. It was a blast even though it kind of resembled a sweat shop. Just to be clear, this job was volunteer basis ONLY... minus the maid of honor because that's her job :).
Since I'll be off to school again soon, I'll have to shove the planning aside and focus on studies, but do NOT fear, the blogging will continue as the wedding plans fall into place! :)

It'll be good to get the few last ones done with you tonight :) You might as well do planning stuff when you're with your mom anyway, so it's okay that it's early.
